EVOLUTION LED Tripods – Investigation
The FCA642 Tripod with an Evolution lamphead will measure 42″ with the legs retracted. (This is the stowed configuration.) The -ON on/off switch option or -TW top wire option will each add 1″ to this dimension.
A NEMA L5-15 three prong twist lock plug and the -G wire guard are included as standard equipment on all FRC Tripods.
The optional Tripod mounting bracket set includes a foot pad that the bottom of the tripod fits into and a quick release spring loaded dead bolt that holds the tripod securely.
The light pole is anodized aluminum and has a knurled twist lock mechanism to secure the extension pole in position. The extension pole will extend 40″ and rotate 360 degrees. An internal brake shall slow the extension pole during lowering. The outer pole is grooved aluminum extrusion. The folding legs are anodized aluminum tubing with plastic end caps. When fully extended the tripod system will exceed a height of 6′. The wiring shall extend from the pole bottom with a12′ retractile cord. Power is supplied by vehical 12 volt power point or trailer plug which is a 7 pin standard trailer connector. Available in V11, V20, 12 volt Evolution and Spectra LED.
